Job summary

Majestic Steel USA, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Packaging Materials Associate to review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specs. You will operate micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment safely.

Experience in manufacturing is not required, but attention to detail and clear communication are essential. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM with overtime as needed, starting at $17.75/hour with potential for more based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely using micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Identify and report any damage or quality issues and adhere to safety guidelines with PPE.
• Collaborate with production crew to meet goals and perform additional job-related tasks.

• Pay: Starting rate is $17.75/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills:Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; mount & dismount equipment; capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time; and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:
