Majestic Steel in Houston, TX seeks a detail‑oriented packaging associate to review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM with overtime as required. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour, with the opportunity for higher pay based on experience. You will handle materials lifting up to 50 pounds and work closely with the production team in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely using tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing PPE.
• Work collaboratively with production crew to meet goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills:Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; mount & dismount equipment; capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time; and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Two years of manufacturing and/ or warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval
