Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare seeks a Material Services Associate I, Casual to support the Distribution department in Minneapolis. You will handle receiving, storing, issuing, and replenishing materials, while ensuring accuracy and timely service to internal customers and patients.

Under supervision, you will perform clerical duties, maintain safety and quality standards, and contribute to efficient supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; basic math and literacy required.
• Six months experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
• Good written and oral communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, sort, issue, stock and shelve materials and equipment.
• Verify packing slips and barcodes against products.
• Assist in inventories and respond to information requests.
• Deliver mail/materials to supply areas and update computerized systems.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality; keep work area orderly.
• Support product recalls and related documentation.
