Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is hiring a warehouse receiver to unload, inspect and log incoming shipments at our Kentucky facility.

You will verify quantities against bills of lading, document discrepancies, and maintain accurate records while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of distribution/inventory experience preferred
• Basic reading and math skills required

Responsibilities

• Unload and receipt of product accurately and safely.
• Compare and verify materials against carrier documents.
• Calculate pallet counts and reconcile with the Bill of Lading.
• Document numbers and sign paperwork; accountable for discrepancies.

This position will ensure the accurate , timely and safe unloading and receipt of product and will compare and verify all material from assigned truck. This involved calculating the exact counts on each pallet and comparing these numbers to the Bill of Lading provided by each individual carrier. The receiver will document these numbers, sign the necessary paperwork, and is held accountable for any discrepancy thereafter.
