Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for the accurate unloading and receipt of product. You will compare and verify material against carrier documents, document counts, and sign the paperwork, ensuring accountability for any discrepancies.

The role requires basic reading and math skills and at least a few months of distribution/inventory experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive product accurately and timely.
• Compare and verify all material from each carrier.
• Calculate exact pallet counts and check against the Bill of Lading.
• Document numbers and sign paperwork; responsible for discrepancies.

This involved calculating the exact counts on each pallet and comparing these numbers to the Bill of Lading provided by each individual carrier. The receiver will document these numbers, sign the necessary paperwork, and is held accountable for any discrepancy thereafter.
