Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Advanced Programs Operations & Supply Chain team in a primarily onsite role in McKinney, TX. You will drive material strategy, coordinate with Eng, Ops, and Production, and own cost and schedule performance for a portfolio of programs.

The candidate will oversee LRE/EAC, support Make/Buy/Where decisions, and lead supplier engagement to ensure timely, compliant material delivery. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and several years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Experience managing supplier performance relative to cost, schedule, and contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead material strategy execution from front end to contract closure in a matrixed environment.
• Own the LRE/EAC process for your scope and monitor portfolio sales against forecasts.
• Develop and execute material plans and supplier management plans with cross-functional teams.
• Generate RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals/quotes.
• Manage supplier engagement and performance reviews; ensure cost-effective material availability.
