Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain Management to fill a critical Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting the Land & Air Defense Systems.

As an MPM, you’re a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. You’re able to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

In this highly visible role, you’re a member of the Supply Chain DLS MPM team. You will interface with the programs and liaison with all CBT functions across all Product lines to achieve your goals on DLS. You’ll create and execute Material Product Strategies (MPS) and the Material Product Plans (MPP) to ensure the execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through contract closure. You will be responsible for supporting maintaining continuous operations on DLS manufacturing scope and ensuring all DLS goals are met for material needs. Material management of demand and supply will core the responsibility ensuring on time delivery material and end product in support of DLS requirements. Responsibilities also include Estimate at Completion (EAC’s), proactive procurement strategies, management of AOP, and program metrics across contracts. Significant autonomy comes with his role in managing day to day activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate and translate customer and product requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.

  • Monitor and communicate supply chain performance metrics and proactively act to address program, product, and functional issues impacting kit availability, on-time delivery to MRP, and on-hold purchase requisitions.

  • Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT Reviews including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.

  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities; Proactively manage mitigation plans.

  • Managing budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.

  • Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP)

  • Manage material demands, procurements, receipts, movements and final delivery to customer or field personnel.

  • Ability to obtain MPM certification within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR Successful completion of RTX enterprise OSCLDP in 2025

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Successful completion of RTX Enterprise OSCLDP in 2025

  • Experience with high proficiency with MRP systems and tools, specifically PRISM and KINAXIS,

  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

  • Experience with Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
