Job description

Presidio is looking for Program Managers with experience leading all aspects of IT projects including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control. Presidio Program Managers work directly with the project team, clients, and partners to lead and ensure successful project delivery within scope, on time, and within budget. They are expected to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and project teams.

Travel Requirements :

This is a remote role, but you may be expected to travel up to a certain percentage.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Manage a portfolio of client projects across multiple service offerings.
2. Manage expectations and requirements of multiple project stakeholders (internal, partner, and customer sponsors and stakeholders).
3. Plan and implement IT solution development projects and programs.
4. Collaborate with delivery and sales team leadership to drive business value and support Presidio's overall business goals and strategy.
5. Build and maintain schedules using relevant tools.
6. Lead resolution of issues/escalations related to budget, schedule, and scope.
7. Oversee activities of stakeholders in meetings and technical sessions.
8. Ensure deadlines and costs are met; escalate issues when necessary.
9. Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
10. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
11. Lead cross-functional, virtual, and offshore teams.
12. Develop comprehensive project and program plans to track tasks, risks, and issues.
13. Align projects and programs with Presidio's strategic objectives.

Required Skills :

1. Experience with project management methodologies (PMI / PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall).
2. Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
3. Knowledge of tools like Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho, etc.
4. Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
5. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Additional Desired Skills :

1. PMP or similar certification.
2. CSM or similar certification.
3. Experience with AWS and Azure technologies.
4. Strong skills in time management, analytics, communication, leadership, and customer service.
5. Excellent client-facing communication and relationship skills.
6. Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and stay updated on current technologies.

Education and Experience :

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.
2. At least several years of experience in IT project and program management and consulting.
