Assurant in Irving, TX is seeking a supervisor to lead day-shift training and development, monitor production performance, and ensure quality controls are met.

You will work with Supervisors, allocate resources, coordinate with other departments, and serve as the point of contact for escalations. The role requires 1+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, and forklift certification if needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years lead or supervisory experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification if needed for area of responsibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
• Must be proficient and certified in area they lead.

Mansioni

• Assist Supervisors in training and developing the team.
• Monitor production performance and ensure production/quality controls meet work instructions.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor and attend internal/external meetings.
• Reallocate resources (people/supplies/products) to meet customer goals.
• Serve as point of contact for escalation issues.
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
• Track and maintain attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes.
• Participate in 6S audits and implement audit-driven changes on the floor.
• Provide on-the-job refresher training and workstation assessments.
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) and KPI/SLA performance.
