Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Inwood, WV is hiring a Material Planning Coordinator II to manage inbound trailers and material flow at the cross dock. You will report material activity in the customer’s system and troubleshoot issues to keep operations efficient.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in materials management and experience with Host inventory systems, with a preference for bilingual English/Spanish. This is a day shift in a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

• Three (3) years or more experience with customer Inventory Systems (Host systems), preferred as needed
• H.S. diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound trailers to the dock
• In report material on the customer's system
• Act as a trouble-shooter for material that cannot be processed through normal channels
• Handle the processing of "hot" parts
• Handle field calls and answer questions regarding material that flows through the cross dock
• Update material flow information in the cross dock database, monitor non-conformance by suppliers/carriers and record those issues in an Issues Database
• Ensure that material flows smoothly and efficiently through the cross dock
• Ensure that information is shared timely with personnel from the customer and Ryder
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Pay Type: Non Exempt / Hourly / Paid Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $20.00-$21.00/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: Day Shift,
• Flexibility is preferred to work additional days and hours as needed.
• Prior materials management experience is preferred.
• Experience in production/packaging is preferred.
• Bilingual capability in English and Spanish is preferred

SUMMARY

The Material Planning Coordinator II is responsible for providing information and guidance to our customer's personnel regarding the operation of the cross dock. The position may be located at the customer's site and will schedule inbound trailers to the docks, reports material on the customer's system.

EDUCATION

Compensation Information

Pay Type: Hourly

Minimum Pay Range: $20.00

Maximum Pay Range: $21.00
