Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner / Materials Planner to support manufacturing operations through effective production scheduling, inventory management, and material planning. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, Quality Control, and suppliers to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and meet customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize manufacturing capacity and on-time delivery performance.
• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities for raw materials, intermediates, finished goods, and recertification requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor purchase orders in coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Coordinate inbound international shipments and warehouse deliveries to ensure material availability.
• Manage replenishment of consumables required for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stocking parameters.
• Analyze inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency and reduce days on hand.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to align production plans with customer demand.
• Collaborate with Shipping and Logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods.
• Work closely with Quality Control to prioritize workflows and maintain quality standards.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), or related quality and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
