Job summary

  • Experience in an engineer-to-order manufacturing environment.

Position Overview

Siemens Mobility Inc., Rolling Stock Division produces light rail vehicles, electric and diesel locomotives, and passenger coaches. Planner / Supplier Order Management Specialist is a key member of the Order Management team and manages the critical and complex suppliers to ensure on time delivery of open purchase orders to support production demand.

What your day-to-day may look like
  • Ensure continuous supply of materials and address any supply issues that may impact business operations.
  • Analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness. Expedite the approval process for urgent orders.
  • Review replenishment reports daily. Resolve price, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address demand requirements. Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and engineering to solve material supply issues.
  • Communicate between departments to allocate excess materials to projects. Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.

To thrive in this role, you will have

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with experience in ISO 9000 (TS16949 and AS9100 a plus).

  • The pay range for this position is $73,338.00 - $86,190.00 annually.
