Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping and receiving at the Golden, CO branch, with biweekly service to Colorado Springs. The role acts as a liaison for branch operations, guided by local management to ensure timely delivery to job sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• On-the-job experience with SAP-IM (Inventory Management) and WM (Warehouse Management).
• Material handling – movement of parts and materials using appropriate equipment.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound deliveries and move parts into inventory or job stock; pick parts for outbound deliveries.
• Process transactions in SAP and generate shipping papers with carrier software.
• Support replenishment, maintain accurate inventory levels and participate in counts; execute goods returns.
• Coordinate delivery of parts with internal teams and retain POD and inventory documentation.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and enforce safety policies; follow Siemens guidelines.
• Provide attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in all tasks.

The Logistics Coordinator isresponsible forall shipping and receiving activities at the branch warehouse as well as the management and upkeep of the warehouse environment. The warehouse coordinator reportsintothe regionallogisticsmanager. You will serve as a primary liaison with branch personnel, assuming the role of a service provider for branch operations. In thiscapacity, you will receive guidance from local operations management to ensure thetimelydelivery of our products to job sites.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will:

• Receiveinbound deliveries, moveparts and materials into inventory and/or job stock, pickparts and materials for outbound deliveries.
• Process all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure, createshipping papers using the preferred carriers’ software application
• Support the service van parts replenishment process, keepaccurateinventorylevelsandparticipatein the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure, executethe goods return procedure for the branch
• Communicatewith internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand,retaindocumentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory
• General housekeeping of the warehouse, enforceandmaintainsafety in the warehouse, adhereto standard warehouseguidelinesand follow Siemens' policies
• Providedetail-orientation, accuracy,and organization in all work.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
• ExperiencewithMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• On-the-jobexperiencewith:
• SAP-IM(Inventory Management)and WM(Warehouse Management)modules
• Material handling – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handlingequipment
• Working with cross-functions (e.g., project managers, service technicians)
• Must be able todemonstrateresponsivenessand thorough customer serviceapproachand the ability to work independently (supervised remotely)
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations ; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+months experienceworking in a warehouse in a material handling andlogisticsfunction
• Associate’s degree in related technical field preferred, but not necessary
• Variety of supply chain management experience
• SAP experience – other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.)

The pay range for this position is $33,201 - $56,916 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
