Join Siemens Mobility as a Material Handler and play a key role in keeping critical rail and transportation solutions moving. In this hands‑on warehouse role, you’ll help receive, organize, stage, and move materials that support our customers and operations every day. You’ll work as part of a collaborative Supply Chain team, helping maintain accurate inventory and ensuring orders are ready to move efficiently from our Distribution Center in New Castle, Delaware. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Partner with the Warehouse team and cross-functional departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • Receive, organize, stage, and kit materials to support customer orders and production needs.
  • Prepare and ship materials through LTL and freight carriers with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and aftermarket material processing.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment by following safety protocols and emergency procedures.

To thrive in this role, you have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and carrier coordination
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and order pickers (certifications preferred)
Physical Demands/Facility Information
  • Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; climb, crawl in tight spaces or balance; talk and hear.
  • Lift and move no more than 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
