Job Description Material Planner

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a well-known manufacturing fragrance company, is currently seeking a Material Planner to execute planning activities ensuring that finished products can be manufactured without interruption and supplied on time to customers.

Material Planner

Job Summary:

• Pay: $35-$40
• Shifts Available:
• 8:00am to 5:00pm

• Develop a planning schedule that is 100% executable and aligns with productivity targets to meet production plans.
• Review and analyze procurement requirements in MRP.
• Release purchase requisitions for raw materials in accordance with MOQ.
• Review and analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Develop a deep understanding of replenishment systems and processes.
• Resolve or escalate supply issues, working with internal stakeholders.
• Share best practices and ideas with teams.
• Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply planning, supply chain, production planning, or inventory management.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Experience in the flavor, ingredient, or fragrance industry is a plus.
• Six Sigma/Lean Yellow or Green Belt certification is a plus.
