Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Material Operations Manager to lead and manage field Supply Chain operations across multiple locations, including storerooms, delivery operations, and inventory management. You will ensure material readiness for capital and O&M work plans, and serve as a regional leader supporting outage response and storeroom readiness.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in business, supply chain, or related field and 6+ years in storeroom/logistics, plus 3+ years of supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
6+ years' progressive storeroom/logistics or supply chain operations experience.
3+ years supervisory or team leadership experience.
Familiarity with SAP ERP, inventory controls, and material planning processes.
Experience supporting field operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day material operations, including storeroom performance, inventory practices, and logistics coordination.
Team and Workforce Development: Supervise and develop a team of supervisors, union personnel, and logistics staff across multiple sites.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for field operations, contractors, and engineering partners.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Maintain compliance with SOX, FERC, and audit requirements; lead improvement projects to enhance service and inventory accuracy.
