Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Materials Logistics Supervisor to lead warehousing, inventory control, and distribution across operating areas. You will supervise staff, coordinate trucking and crane operations, and ensure accurate records and timely deliveries while meeting safety standards.

The role emphasizes budgeting, process improvements, and collaboration with partners to support outage restoration and project goals. 5+ years in supervision preferred; CDL and related licenses are desirable.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in distribution and warehouse operations.
• Proficient with desktop applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Experience with inventory management technology is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance or related field.
• 5+ years in distribution or warehousing supervision / management.
• CDL A/B, state/federal hoisting license, forklift; APICS certs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise staff to coordinate warehousing, trucking, crane operation and related activities.
• Plan daily operational schedules and assign work to meet needs; extend hours during emergencies or deadlines.
• Manage financial budget including O&M, overtime, and capital costs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead continuous process improvement; develop and implement changes in methods and work practices.
• Oversee contractors on projects and ensure safety, records, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of receipt, storage, inventory and delivery of materials.
