Job summary

Körber in Irving, Texas is seeking a System Architect to lead design and development of material handling system solutions, collaborating with sales and execution teams to turn concepts into detailed designs.

You will define system requirements with clients, perform data analysis, and provide technical leadership across projects ranging from $1M to $250M, including validation through simulation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in related field and demonstrated responsibilities.
• Certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of material handling system solutions.
• Define system requirements with clients, analyze data, and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during the sales phase and build client confidence.
• Support multiple concurrent projects ranging from $1M to $250M in value.
• Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings to align on system concepts.
• Develop material flow calculations and Basis of Design to define performance.
• Serve as SME on material handling equipment and system integration.
• Create system concepts, process flows, and material flow diagrams for decision making.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, bid and operations teams to develop specs, pricing, and handoff docs.
• Support system validation through simulation, emulation, and commissioning.
