Job summary

MiTek in Tolleson, AZ is hiring a Material Handler to manage inbound materials and support stamping press operations. You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move master coils from rail cars and trucks, loading material to line and ensuring first-piece quality.

You will perform routine quality checks, monitor coolant and oil levels, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting productivity standards and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; training provided if needed.
• Demonstrated safety record and adherence to safety policies.
• Ability to follow directions and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload master coils or materials from rail cars or trucks using forklifts/overhead cranes.
• Load/unload slit ribbon material on decoilers per steel loading process.
• Feed material into stamping dies and perform first piece inspection.
• Perform routine quality control on materials: thickness, gauge, width, coating.
• Monitor coolant and oil levels in production equipment and adjust as required.
• Attend shifts on time and be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
