Job summary

CFAB Minnesota in Shoreview, MN is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to manage the movement, storage, and tracking of materials across the facility. The role also supports panel build operations, assisting with assembly, staging, and basic electrical/mechanical tasks to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and basic documentation.
• Basic computer skills; ERP or inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against orders.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain inventory.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production per work orders.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Support panel build and production tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas (5S).
• Coordinate material flow to avoid shortages and delays.
• Identify and escalate material discrepancies or quality concerns.
