Job summary

Specialty Manufacturing in Minnesota is seeking a proactive Material Handler to join our team. The role reports to the Plant Manager and collaborates with cross‑functional production areas to move parts, coordinate workflow, and keep work areas clean and organized.

You will assist with material prep, put new inventory in warehouse locations and record transactions, operate equipment to wash parts, and help with basic equipment maintenance including monitoring oil levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience/license a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and have basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to maneuver/lift 50 pounds continuously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the workflow including movement of parts.
• Removal and disposal of chips from machines.
• Material preparation organization.
• Put new inventory in warehouse location and complete corresponding transactions into the computer.
• Operate equipment to wash and clean production parts to specifications.
• Responsibility for some equipment maintenance is required,including monitoring machine oil levels.
• Basic cleaning and organizing.
