Job summary

The Specialty Manufacturing Company in Minnesota is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and distribute raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to machining centers, assembly areas, and shipping locations. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and support production operations with timely deliveries.

Two shifts are offered: 6:00AM-2:30PM and 2:00PM-10:30PM, with a shift differential on the second shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and counting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience reading work orders, shipping documents, inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.
• Supply machine operators with materials, tools, and components to maintain production schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries and verify quantities against receiving documents.
• Stage materials for production jobs according to work orders.
• Move completed parts to inspection, assembly, or shipping departments.
• Maintain inventory records using barcode scans, ERP systems, or inventory tracking procedures.
