Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Material Handling Operator to help move bulk and break bulk products at our facility. The role involves bagging, unloading/loading barges, trucks, and rail cars, with steady hours and strong benefits.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, the ability to follow safety procedures, operate equipment such as skid loaders and conveyors, and complete documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Strong communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to use tools appropriate for assigned task.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Perform deckhand duties such as securing barges and tying off.
• Operate a skid loader during unloading process.
• Set up conveyors and direct product to storage areas.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform PM.
• Assist in housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
