Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Material Handling Operator for 2nd shift in West Branch, IA. The role supports shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, with duties including inventory management and SAP-based transaction recording.

Strong English skills, basic Office proficiency, and ERP familiarity are essential for accurate records and timely processing. You will contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations, participate in loading, and ensure materials meet production

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum one (1) year of warehouse experience (preferred).
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for data entry, document creation, and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to update inventory records, track material movements, and generate reports.
• Strong command of the English language to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries of components and ensure they are properly positioned in the warehouse for easy access and organization.
• Supply production workstations with the required materials for assembly as per the production schedule.
• Safely load trucks with materials for shipping to the farm, ensuring accurate quantities and proper handling.
• Manage the collection and transfer of production and warehouse waste for proper disposal or recycling.
• Record all material movements, including entries, exits, and losses, in the computer management system to maintain accurate and up-to-date stock information.
• Collaborate with the financial department to support the preparation of monthly and annual financial results by providing inventory data and insights.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Other duties as assigned.
