Olympic Steel is seeking a Materials Handler to support production. The role involves moving work-in-progress materials on the floor, staging finished goods, loading trucks, and processing raw materials.

You will also handle paperwork for materials on the floor and assist with scrap parts and warehouse tasks. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic math skills, and the ability to work with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proper use and care of precision instruments.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes by moving work-in-progress materials on the floor.
• Staging finished goods and loading trucks.
• Receive raw materials and prepare materials on the floor.
• Handle scrap parts and operate forklift, handheld plasma, and other warehouse equipment.
