Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience in metal distribution or related metal industry preferred.
• Must have knowledge of computers and good math skills.
• Warehouse environment not temperature-controlled; exposure to noise, vibration, oils and chemicals; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Pull material to fill customer orders using powered industrial truck, side loader, or overhead crane.
• Pack, band, tag, and stage material for shipment.
• Enter order information into the computer and complete paperwork.
• May load orders onto trucks for delivery; may unload inbound material.
• May receive stock and relocate stock as needed.
• Inspect stock for tolerance and perform equipment inspections.
• Perform safety checks and maintain housekeeping in work area.
