Job summary

Washington Mills in North Grafton, MA is seeking a Material Handler – Utility Worker for the 1st shift (Mon-Thu 5 am–3 pm with some Fridays). You will deliver materials to production lines, move finished goods, and keep work areas safe and organized.

You'll support a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operate pallet jacks and forklifts when permitted, and help maintain accurate inventory while following 5S standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and math calculations.
• Ability to read production instructions and inventory info.
• Strength to lift 50 pounds and stand 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to production lines.
• Monitor for mechanical failure and hazards.
• Transport finished products and materials.
• Maintain 5S and clean work areas.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts when authorized.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow schedules and replenishment procedures.
• Communicate shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement and efficient material flow.
