Job summary

Ppswork is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for 1st shift to support production and warehouse operations in a growing manufacturing environment. You will move materials, support assembly, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure production readiness to keep lines flowing.

The role emphasizes forklift operation (certification available), data entry, and teamwork. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong attention to detail and reliable attendance expected daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate lift trucks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter inventory data.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Move work-in-process and finished goods to appropriate staging areas.
• Pick and issue components to support assembly and production schedules.
• Count, log, and enter finished goods into inventory systems.
• Prepare materials and work queues to support production readiness.
• Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (certification available).
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Follow quality procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support warehouse and production operations as needed.
