Washington Mills is hiring a Manufacturing Production Operator in North Grafton, MA. The role involves monitoring and operating crushing and grading equipment, handling abrasive grain, and maintaining a safe, efficient production line.

The position supports a team environment with a 1st shift schedule (Mon–Thu 5 am–3 pm, with occasional Fridays) and requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or higher education a plus.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills and math calculations.
• Understand the process and perform simple troubleshooting within job scope.
• Must speak, read, and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing production demands.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk up to 10 hours.
• Knowledge of fork truck operations or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing and grading equipment as part of a production team.
• Handle abrasive grain, containers, drums, sacks, and bags safely and efficiently.
• Perform housekeeping and organize materials and shipments.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or hazards on the production line.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Support additional duties and projects as assigned.
