Job summary

BMI Merchandise in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Stocker to receive, organize, and replenish inventory in the fulfillment center, ensuring products are accurately stocked, accessible, and ready for order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include processing incoming shipments, unloading pallets, locating stock, stocking, reporting discrepancies, scanning with handheld devices, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining safety protocols on a day shift (7:00am-3:30pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehouse, stocking, or fulfillment center experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and labeling.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners a plus.
• Good communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets and cases using material handling equipment.
• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Stock and organize inventory in designated locations following slotting standards.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or mislabeled products.
• Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
• Scan and label products accurately using handheld scanners or WMS.
• Operate pallet jacks or hand trucks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE.

Warehouse Stocker

The Warehouse Stocker is responsible for receiving, organizing, and replenishing inventory throughout the fulfillment center to ensure product is accurately stocked, accessible, and ready for order fulfillment.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Unload pallets and cases using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Stock, restock, and organize inventory in designated bins, shelves, or storage locations following warehouse slotting standards.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or mislabeled products.
• Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
• Scan and label products accurately using handheld scanners or warehouse management system (WMS) tools.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
