TSA, part of the Ryerson Family of Companies, is excited to announce an opportunity for a bilingual Spanish-speaking Material Handler to join our team. You will oversee and coordinate administrative functions while supporting management. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Select material based on specific heats or physical condition according to order instructions.
• Unload and receive materials, including weighing, counting, and checking sizes.
• Identify materials by color, heat, and test numbers; organize into stock racks or designated areas.
• Record information on receiving tickets or documents.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Fill in for absent qualified positions as needed daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may change at any time.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a skills assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection, measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in metals or warehouse settings.
• Crane, forklift, and computer skills are a plus.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Team player.
• Enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program during onboarding.
