Job summary

Phoenix Color Corp. in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Material Handler / Sheeting Helper to keep our pressroom moving. You will load, stage, and maintain material rolls and operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to support production.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina required; capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork-focused mindset.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Powering Production: load, and maintain material rolls for production machines.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) safely.
• Staging & Logistics: package, organize, and stage finished products for the pressroom team.
• Team Support: partner closely with machine operators to assist daily production needs.
• Sustainability & Safety: prepare recyclable waste for transport and follow safety policies.
• Workspace Pride: keep a clean, organized, hazard-free workspace.
