Phoenix Color® is hiring a Material Handler / Sheeting Helper in Hagerstown, MD. The role supports pressroom operations, moving heavy rolls, and ensuring safe, efficient production flow.

Paying $18.45–$22.80 per hour, the shift runs Wednesday to Saturday, 7am–7pm, at 18249 Phoenix Dr. Join a team focused on safety, growth, and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months of forklift or electric pallet jack experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Powering Production: Prepare, load, and maintain material rolls for production machines.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• Staging & Logistics: Package, organize, and stage finished products for the pressroom team.
• Team Support: Partner with machine operators to assist with daily production needs.
• Sustainability & Safety: Prepare recyclable waste for transport and follow safety policies.
• Workspace Pride: Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment.

From managing heavy machinery rolls to operating powered industrial vehicles, your efficiency and dedication to safety will directly impact our team's success.

Pay: $18.45hr - $22.80 hr.

Shift: Wednesday to Saturday 7am - 7pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Powering Production: Prepare, load, and maintain material rolls for production machines.

What You Bring :

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 45-70 lbs regularly, stand/walk for 12-hour shifts, and push/pull up to 1,100 lbs using a manual pallet jack.
• Core Skills: Basic math, reading comprehension, and accurate measurement skills.
• Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a team-first mindset.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of experience operating forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
