Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Hagerstown, MD seeks a Material Handler / Sheeting Helper to support pressroom operations. You will prepare, load, and maintain material rolls, and safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for production workflows.

The role requires physical stamina, basic math and measurement skills, and a team-first mindset. You will contribute to a clean, safe workspace and help sustain efficient production lines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Power production: prepare, load, and maintain material rolls for production machines
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial vehicles
• Stage and organize finished products for the pressroom team
• Support machine operators with daily production needs
• Prepare recyclable waste for transport and follow safety policies
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
