Job summary

Phoenix Color Corp. in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Material Handler / Sheeting Helper to keep our pressroom moving. You will load, stage, and maintain material rolls and operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to support production.

Responsibilities

• Staging & Logistics: package, organize, and stage finished products for the pressroom team.
• Team Support: partner closely with machine operators to assist daily production needs.
• Sustainability & Safety: prepare recyclable waste for transport and follow safety policies.
• Workspace Pride: keep a clean, organized, hazard-free workspace.

Pay: $18.45hr - $22.80hr.

Shift: Sunday to Wednesday 7am - 7pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 45-70 lbs regularly, stand/walk for 12-hour shifts, and push/pull up to 1,100 lbs using a manual pallet jack.
• Core Skills: Basic math, reading comprehension, and accurate measurement skills.
• Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a team-first mindset.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of experience operating forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
