Material Handler – Inventory & Replenishment

We’re seeking a Material Handler – Inventory & Replenishment to support our growing Distribution Center team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the flow and accuracy of inventory throughout the warehouse by supporting replenishment, putaway, slotting, inventory control, material movement, and other warehouse functions.
The Material Handler will initially work a schedule of 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM. This position will transition to 2nd Shift, with scheduled hours of 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. The Material Handler will work closely with the VAS/Materials Supervisor to ensure inventory is accurately located, pick locations remain replenished, materials are properly staged, and the warehouse is prepared to support both current and next-day operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Replenish forward pick locations from reserve inventory based on operational demand
- Perform putaway of received and returned inventory into assigned warehouse locations
- Move and consolidate inventory to support efficient warehouse flow and space utilization
- Support product slotting and re-slotting activities based on inventory and operational needs
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy activities
- Investigate and report inventory, location, quantity, or product discrepancies
- Verify product, quantity, and warehouse location when moving inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions using warehouse systems and handheld devices
- Stage and move materials to support Picking, Packing, VAS, Receiving, and other operational areas
- Support VAS material preparation, staging, movement, and completion as needed
- Maintain replenishment and material flow to prevent operational delays
- Assist with warehouse organization, consolidation, and 5S activities
- Ensure pallets, products, and materials are stored safely and in designated locations
- Follow standard operating procedures, inventory controls, and job safety requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Identify inventory or material-flow issues and communicate them to the VAS/Materials Supervisor
- Support other warehouse functions based on daily operational priorities
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- 1–3 years of warehouse, inventory, material handling, or distribution experience preferred
- Previous replenishment, putaway, cycle counting, or inventory-control experience preferred
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required; normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using warehouse management systems or handheld scanning devices is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
