Job summary

GAFSGI in Georgetown, TX seeks a Material Handler to safely load and unload trucks, pick orders, verify shipments, and prepare pallets. You will operate a forklift, manage LP tanks, and follow SOPs/JSA for safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in a busy logistics setting, forklift certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Night/weekend shifts may be required; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 2 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals required.
• Ability to work all shifts including occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and maintain LP tanks.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare pallets.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory deadlines.
• Verify shipment contents against packing slips and Bills of Lading.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in work areas.
