Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility, using hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment. You’ll verify orders, label products and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 18 years old, basic math skills and the ability to read safety rules and instructions. Warehouse experience and a flexible schedule are a plus, along with experience using a handheld scanner

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math ability with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Flexible schedule availability and overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner is a plus.
• Positive attitude and teamwork to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties such as packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
