Job summary

Gilmer Warehouse LLC is seeking a careful forklift operator to safely move materials in a busy warehouse. You will load/unload trucks, stage products, and maintain accurate inventory while following all safety procedures.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for extended shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to communicate and write legibly in English.
• Understand OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely in a warehouse environment.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance and pre-shift inspections.
• Load and unload trucks and move product to pallet positions.
• Scan products and move to loading or staging areas.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and labels on products.
• Assist with shipping, receiving and inventory tasks as needed.
