Job summary

Louis Industries, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a full-time, on-site manufacturing worker for the Second (Evening) shift. You will handle steel materials, separate parts, palletize, and operate a forklift, among other duties. The role offers bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handle assorted steel raw material and steel scrap.
• Separate/ “pick” parts from skeletons that are cut on the laser and stack onto pallet/containers
• Package parts using banding or shrink wrap, as needed
• Safely operate forklift to load and unload material and to move completed parts
• Occasionally kit parts that go to welding
• Operate small hand & power tools
• Maintain work area and production equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Follow all standard safety regulations
• Perform work in a manner that all products conform to prescribed quality standards
• Use and understand Global Shop system for data collection, work instructions, routers and prints
• Participate in and support continuous process improvement
• Other duties may be assigned that pertain to the classification.
