Switchgear Power Systems in Wisconsin is looking for a Material Handler for the Weekend Day Shift, working Friday to Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This role involves moving materials, loading and unloading parts, and assisting with fabrication duties.

Material Handler – Weekend Day Shift

Shift: Friday‑Sunday 6:00am‑6:00pm

Shift Perks

• Paid lunch
• Work 36 hours, get paid for 40
• Overtime available during weekdays or additional weekend hours
• Double time after 44 hours worked

Overall Responsibility

• Move materials (sheet/WIP) as needed to support fabrication (unload trucks, move material to/from various FAB departments).
• Load, unload sheets and parts off laser.
• Assist press brake in bending parts (2‑man jobs).
• Assist weld with weldments (tacking, kitting, prepping, etc.).
• Metal finish units as needed and/or based on demand.

Key Job Duties (not exhaustive)

• Use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
• Maintain high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Operate forklifts and hoists.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Take and follow directives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience & forklift driving experience.

• Ability to work and function as a team.
• Self‑motivated and can work without much supervision.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
• Safety‑minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.
