Job description

Material Handler – Weekend Night Shift

Shift: Friday–Sunday 6:00pm–6:00am (+$3.00/hour shift differential)

Shift Perks

• Paid lunch
• Work 36 hours, get paid for 40
• Overtime available during weekdays or additional weekend hours
• Double time after 44 hours worked

Overall Responsibilities

• Move materials (sheet/WIP) as needed to support fabrication (unload trucks, move material to/from various FAB departments)
• Load, unload sheets and parts off laser
• Assist press brake in bending parts (2‑man jobs)
• Assist weld with weldments (tacking, kitting, prepping, etc)
• Metal finish units as needed and/or based on demand

Key Job Duties (not Exhaustive)

• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, etc
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications
• Follow company policy and standards
• Able to operate forklifts and hoists
• Keep work centers clean and orderly
• Able to take and follow directives

Required Skills And Experience

• 2+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience & forklift driving experience
