Job summary

Hornady Manufacturing Co. in Kentucky is seeking a forklift operator to safely move pallets and materials on the production floor. You will position forks, operate lift devices, and transport loads to designated areas.

Daily duties include unloading, stacking materials, conducting floor inventory, weighing items, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. Strong communication with operators and supervisors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate gas/electric powered industrial trucks and lift devices.
• Position forks and lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
• Transport loads to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials with and without lifting devices.
• Conduct inventory on the work floor and supply operators with raw and finished products as needed.
• Weigh materials and record weight on tags, labels or production schedules.
• Perform daily maintenance on industrial trucks (lubricate, recharge batteries, refuel).
• Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors.
