Responsibilities

• Operate gas/electric powered industrial trucks and lift devices safely.
• Position pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials with or without lifting devices.
• Conduct floor inventory and supply materials as needed.
• Weigh materials and record weights on tags or schedules.
• Perform daily maintenance on trucks (lubrication, charging, fueling).
• Maintain effective communication with operators and supervisors.
• Perform basic calculations and record keeping as required.

MATERIAL HANDLER - Night Shift (Administrative)

Essential Functions:

• Practice safe work habits while operating gas/electric powered industrial trucks and other lift assist devices
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area
• Unload and stack materials with and without lifting devices
• Conduct inventory on work floor and supply operators with raw and finished products as needed
• Weigh materials and record weight on tags, labels or production schedules
• Daily maintenance on industrial trucks (i.e. lubricate truck, recharge batteries, fill fuel tank)
• Effectively communicate with operators and supervisors
• Basic math skills
