Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Manchester, IA is seeking a Material Handler for the day shift to safely operate forklifts and transport materials across departments. You will unload trucks, use hoists, and coordinate delivery of parts and supplies to manufacturing and service areas, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Daily inspections of equipment are required. Qualified candidates will have forklift experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety.

Day Shift - 3:30PM to 1:30PM (20 Min paid lunch)

How You Will Contribute

Material Handlers safely and efficiently operate forklifts to transport, stack, or store materials between or within departments; must unload trucks and use hoists and other equipment; are knowledgeable about materials and part numbers; support factory operations by coordinating delivery of materials, parts, jigs, fixtures, dies, and supplies to manufacturing and service areas. Assists other departments whenever possible. Responsible for daily inspection of material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Required

• Ability to operate forklifts efficiently and safely

Preferred

• Prior material handling experience
• Extensive experience operating fork lifts

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
