Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Material Handler – Material Center and Warehouse Operator in Jeffersonville, IN. The role moves, stores, and stagess materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and adherence to safety and quality standards on a 12-hour shift.

You will load, unload, and transport materials with forklifts, pick and pack orders, receive shipments, and perform cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders or documentation.
• Perform inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
• Maintain proper material organization and storage locations.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled according to procedures.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels to support operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following 5S standards.
• Follow safety policies including PPE usage and equipment operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or process issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
