Position Details

This role starts at $17.50/hour on a weekend shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. We are seeking a Material Handler for our Allentown, PA warehouse.

Responsibilities

1. Bands material securely using equipment to prepare for shipment.
2. Labels banded carts accurately with units, destination, handler, etc.
3. Cleans work area, including sweeping and rebinding loose bundles, to prepare for the next shift.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential functions, including physical requirements.
• Ability to handle awkward product lengths and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Basic math, interpersonal, teamwork, and reasoning skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, handle, feel, squeeze, or grasp 100% of the time.
• Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception 80% of the time.
• Walking, repetitive motion, operating moving equipment 50% of the time.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting 10% of the time.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance; up to 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
