Position Summary

The Operations Professional at The Restaurant Store is responsible for daily material handling in a retail branch. This includes managing inventory effectively to meet the goals of sales, merchandising, and inventory teams.

Work Environment

The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, temperature changes, dust, fumes, and gases. Noise levels are usually quiet to moderate. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Receive inbound merchandise and stock the sales floor
  • Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
  • Organize merchandise daily for a 'grand opening' appearance
  • Follow and execute priority lists as directed by management
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping, and take out trash
  • Maintain neat and clean work and sales areas
  • Operate a forklift as needed

  • Stand and walk up to 9 hours/day
  • Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
  • Use hands for grasping and manipulation
  • Bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach regularly
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Experience & Education
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in retail or supply chain management
