Job Summary

The Restaurant Store, a Clark Associates company. is growing! As a leading distributor of food service equipment and supplies, we are currently in the process of looking for warehouse Material Handlers to join our rapidly growing company. We are looking for reliable, skilled applicants that focus on teamwork and safety.

Basic Overview: The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing our products as they move around the warehouse. This may include anything from checking and verifying incoming shipments to picking customer orders in a timely and secure manner.

Responsibilities

Material Handler Job Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and sign bills in a timely manner
• Unload container trucks where constant lifting, the moving product above head, and bending are required for 2 hour periods
• Process all incoming merchandise in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performing items put-away using RF scanners and warehouse equipment
• Picking items and consolidating orders for local customers
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment
• Abide by all forklift safety training (must go through our training and certification).
• Cleaning and organizing warehouse/work zone to ensure safety
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by both the Shipping and Outside Assistant Shipping Manager
  
  

Hours:

• Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday 7:00am - 11:00am
• Starting rate is $18.50/hour
• Developmental Programs.
• Raise's every 6 months
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.
  
  

Experience

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, stand, squat, and twist throughout the entire shift
• Must have regular and predictable on-site attendance
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
