Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Materials Handler to help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe while ensuring accurate data recording. The typical schedule is Monday–Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, with opportunities to support production needs.

The role emphasizes following safety policies, basic math, tape-measure reading, and basic computer skills. You will collaborate with teammates to efficiently locate and move inventory for production.

Qualifications

Summary

The Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
